What Art? Response



#1: The mood of the images shows slight sadness to me. The faces in the pictures have almost a slight monotone feel to them and it shows slight sadness. Their postures show almost a bored feel to them, like they don't want to do this but they have to.


#2: The technique shown is very nice. It looks like it was done in an oil paint style. The was it was executed was done well it looks like the models sat down and he oil painted the canvases with them as references.


#3: The color plays a big role in the paintings. It shows darker, sadder, more monotone designs. I believe it do accentuate the mood in the way that it feels really sad and monotone.


#4: I believe the artist intended to convey a sad, dark, monotone image. The artist is trying to evoke a sad almost meh feeling with the paintings. I do believe the effort was successful in these paintings.




            Part 2:


#2: I still believe that she used oil paint for her technique. Her technique being that she wants 2D things to become more 3D. I believe that she did use oil paint for her paintings.



#4: I do not believe she conveyed she images well. She intended for things to become more 3D but to me it looked sad and monotone. While the paintings are painted well I don't think she conveyed the image well.

     Quality of Work:     I believe my quality of work was quite good in the first semester. I had quite a few compelling ideas such as my roller coaster exam idea or the pie smelling in the universal symbols project. I payed attention well to the assignments and took them further. Bringing up the universal symbols project again it had all sorts of this from the eye to the pie. Almost if not all my solutions were completely relevant. Like my solutions most to all my formats and resolutions were completely relevant. I completed most to all of my work on time, time was a fairly large issue I would like to fix. Digital Art 1 Assignment 3

The five words I would use to describe Jenny are Adventurous, Brave, Mysterious, Courageous, and Fun-Loving. The reason I said she was adventurous was because it looks like in the pictures she goes on a lot of adventures. I say she's brave because she took a picture on top of a skyscraper. I say she's mysterious because she takes pictures but none with her face in them. I say she's courageous because similar to brave she takes picture on top of high buildings without fear. I say she's fun-loving because she seems to have fun while taking the pictures. I do believe she was successful in her pictures because she tried to seem fun in the picture and I believe she accomplished that. I do believe Jenny would be a good role model. I think that because she seems fun-loving and adventurous. I feel she would be good around anyone including neighbors and kids. That's my opinion on Jenny based on her pictures.
